I love this picture. It’s a picture of what it looks like for me to turn things down in my mind. We’re inundated so so much everyday that slowly pulls us away from the quiet places within.

Have you been sleeping on yourself? That’s a great misfortune. How many ideas do we let go? What do you tell yourself in order to excuse yourself from executing? What does “the perfect time” look like in order to do what you’ve been wanting to do?

We know that words hurt. Have we ever considered how the words that do unsaid cause pain? Sometimes people need reassurance, to be told they arent in it by themselves. How many times have we cheated ourselves out of a moment because we kept our mouths closed.

I'm a professional cheerleader and I'm unapologetically rooting for everybody black! Truth is that I'm rooting for everyone that walks through my door no matter their race, sex, creed, etc. I'm rooting for you to win! I know how much strength it takes to say "I need help," to be willing to open up to a stranger and trust that they will hold a vulnerable space with you.

Oh what a beautiful experience to be black and blooming🌻🌻 growing through literal dirt being piled on us, reaching towards the sun, to new heights. To bloom in the most desolate of places against the odds of man. Oh, to be black and blooming!

How was your Saturday? Did you take time to rest? Today was a rest day that I NEEDED. On a friends suggestion I blocked today off on my schedule to rest. Being commitment free today was literally the most liberating feeling! Never get to busy doing that you forget to BE! Remember we are human beings not human doings ✌🏽 Enhoy the rest of your evening beautiful people.
