I’m so impressed with my clients checking in at close of 2020 and the upcoming week of 2021. They are rejecting the status quo and transitioning into new spaces. If you’re ready to explore and challenge parts of yourself that keep you stuck, we can make this journey together.
Interdependence makes for strong communities AND individuals. We talk here often in this space about the strength and beauty of vulnerable. Never underestimate the power of your tribe, support system, community workers or those who love you. I legit understand Prince at the Super Bowl, "We are gathered here today to get through this thing called life." There are 7 billion plus people on this Earth, why act as if you have to do this thing alone 😊
So let’s put this in today’s term, you don’t have to “match” someone’s energy, be better than that, understand you are ALWAYS responsible for your own behavior. We sometimes forget to consider what battle others are fighting. Sometimes others attitudes and behaviors towards us, especially when it’s out of their character, has very little to do with us. Negative outward behaviors can often be reflections of internal battles we cannot see. What will you do today to be kind to others?
Time is defined by the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole.
I’ve seen it too many times before, waiting until something, usually relational or financial, is ruined before we implement change. Why do we torture ourselves this way? What makes us wait until the pain is too much to bear before we make changes. Various parts of our existence gives us clues that we need to do something different yet be brush it under the rug never addressing it again until the rug is so big we trip and break a limb. This doesn’t have to be you. Change is possible💜 Start today!
It’s the forcible contact for me!!! Self work is a constant evaluation of knowing what has impacted our life and what influences our decisions. It’s something about the definition that makes me belief that impact FORCES you to stop and pay attention or change directions. Sometimes, we have to sit with ourselves and ask the questions that lead us down the road if unpacking our life experiences, even the unpleasant ones 😊
